A Magical Transformation of Silks!

Setup
Fold the large blendo silk as shown. Then, roll/wrap the large blendo silk around the fake thumb tip. Make sure a small portion of the top area of the fake thumb is not covered. Leaving a little bit of the top are uncovered will prevent the large blendo silk from getting stuck in the fake thumb during the performance.

Performance
You begin the trick with the fake thumb with the large blendo silk wrapped around it, hidden in your fist. You then take the 4 small square silks and poke them into the fake thumb. Then you stick your real thumb into the fake thumb and pull it out of your fist, leaving the large blendo silk in your closed fist. With the hand that has the fake thumb attached, reach into your pocket telling your spectator you need to get some of “that magic invisible dust.” Then pretend to drop the “magic invisible dust” onto the fist holding the large blendo silk. Pull out the large blendo silk showing the 4 silks have blended into one!

You begin the trick with the fake thumb with the flag blendo silk wrapped around it, hidden in your fist. You then take the red, white, and blue silks and poke them into the fake thumb. Then you stick your real thumb into the fake thumb and pull it out of your fist, leaving the flag blendo silk in your closed fist. With the hand that has the fake thumb attached, reach into your pocket telling your spectator you need to get some of “that magic invisible dust.” Then pretend to drop the “magic invisible dust” onto the fist holding the large blendo silk. Pull out the flag blendo silk showing the red, white, and blue silks have blended into an American Flag!
